Climate Protection

Climate protection is our most urgent environmental priority and we measure emissions according to the GHG protocol.

Our emissions from our own operations (scope 1 and 2) are very low. We achieve this from low energy use and from all brands implementing renewable electricity. Our largest emissions are caused by the energy used outside our own operations (scope 3) in manufacturing of our brand’s products, transportation and digital services.

We prioritise suppliers with documented environmental management systems like ISO 14001 and defined CO2 reduction strategies like our strategic steel, aluminium and paper suppliers.

In our continuous work with our suppliers, we work on minimising water consumption and effluents. Our suppliers should have strong chemical and waste management practices, and we encourage them to implement renewable energy.
